Little Town Zachary is open!

We had a chance to peak around inside, and y'all... Janelle Strahan has absolutely nailed it.

She's a mom just like us who knew that his was something that Zachary desperately needed. An AC'd play area where moms can chat with their CC's coffee while the kids engage in hands on learning and play? It's brilliant.  It's also adorable. Each miniature building captures the look and feel of its real-life counterpart.

The development of Little Town Zachary involved close collaboration with local businesses, starting with an original sponsorship idea from Landmark Bank. Strahan visited each sponsoring business to capture the essence of their operations, which were creatively integrated into the playhouses by Imagine That Playhouses from Georgia. These installations were completed in three phases and are designed to be both fun and educational, showcasing different professions and industries.

Sullivan Home Services not only helped renovate the main building but also sponsored a playhouse, reinforcing the community-focused nature of the project. Local artist Courtney Yoes added to the vibrant and engaging atmosphere by painting a mural.

Little Town Zachary aims to host various community activities, including small camps and church group events.  Private parties will be hosted on the weekends, which can be booked online here.

And don't worry, it won't be utter chaos inside even when you're not at a private party. There will be a limit the number of children to ensure a quality experience, with an expected capacity of 20-30 kids per session. They are also considering introducing bookable play times to better manage the flow of visitors.

If you have young children, Little Town Zachary is destined to become your family's favorite place. It perfectly captures the charm of our little town in a kid-sized form, and gives them a blend of fun, learning and community spirt. We're so excited that it exists!
