BREC for over 50 years. He remembers using the park to practice basketball and attending
summer camps as a child. McDavid highlighted how many children in our community have
benefitted from everything BREC offers and the difference it continues to make in our city.
“I would like to thank BREC for their solid partnership with the City of Zachary,” said Mayor
David McDavid.
Officials attending the ribbon cutting included Zachary Councilwoman Ambre DeVirgilio,
Zachary Police Chief Darryl Lawrence, State Representative Barbara Carpenter, and Baker
