1) Living in Louisiana we have an automatic 2-month extension when it comes to Christmas Trees. We get to transform our Red, Green, and Grinches into a Mardi Gras Masterpiece! Most stores have designated sections filled with gorgeous purple, green, and gold accessories. For the best bargains try Dollar Tree and Hobby Lobby when they have a sale.
2) Use your current collection of parade catches in your decor. Those popular decorated coconuts and beads make great bowl, vase and tray fillers.
3) Ornaments are your DIY friends! Don’t throw them away. Sure you could go and buy new ones, but we love budget friendly ideas. Spray paint is your friend. Add a metallic gloss spray to the ornaments you currently have in those signature
colors for a cost effective way to transform your spaces! Grab a hot glue gun or any craft glue or even glitter if you're fancy. Use your ornaments in creative ways to make wreaths, napkin holders, garlands, and custom centerpieces.
