Zachary Charity League Announces Teacher Mini-Grant Winners

Feb 14, 2024 10:48AM ● By Lauren Pope
The Zachary Charity League teach grant program is such a blessing to teachers in our community. Many do not realize how much teachers spend out of their own pockets to provide for their students. I have participated in the Zachary Charity League teacher grant program for years, and they continue to bless me, my classroom, and my students by funding my grants. The funds from these grants have allowed me to purchase countless items to bring the “magic” to my classroom—from art centers, sensory tables, light tables, to dramatic play centers, they have granted it all. I like to dream big and provide fun play based experiences for my kids, and the Zachary Charity Leaguers are like little fairies who make my crazy teacher wishes come to life! They to not only bless teachers through these teacher grants, but also through the snack pack program, they provide to kids in food-insecure homes. Forever grateful for them and their heart for our community!
