Are you an aspiring author? Join the Fiction Writers Workshop to receive valuable feedback on your fiction stories. Email Desmond Stevens to get started and join a community of supportive writers.

Do you have a hidden or reluctant poet inside you? Join local poet Caroline Derbes at the Jones Creek Regional Branch on Wednesday, May 29 at 6 p.m. to try catching poems with bait-buckets of four-word prompts. You can also bring previously written poems to share and get feedback from fellow poets.
These events are fantastic opportunities to hone your writing skills, meet other writers, and potentially gain recognition for your work. Whether you're interested in entering contests, joining workshops, or simply connecting with a community of writers, there's something for everyone. We're so excited that these programs exist to support and inspire our local writing talent!
