Jodie's tenure at MBP over the past five years has been transformative. She initially joined as the Vice President of Marketing and Communications, where she played a crucial role in shaping the center’s public image and outreach. Her exemplary work led to her promotion to COO, a role in which she has been instrumental in overseeing operations and strategic initiatives. This includes redefining partnerships, such as the critical transition from Our Lady of the Lake to new alliances with other hospitals across the state, enhancing radiological and radiation surgery programs, and expanding MBP’s reach with eight new facilities in central and north Louisiana.

These efforts leverage MBP's unique physician structure and leadership team autonomy, crucial for recruiting top talent and maintaining market strength.
Community involvement is another cornerstone of Jodie’s career. Having lived in Zachary for the past 12 years, she values her connection to the community and the local school system, which benefits her three children. Jodie’s community engagement extends to her role on the board of Heritage Ranch, an organization that supports at-risk children by providing residential programs for boys in crisis.
Her contributions to the field have not gone unnoticed. In 2024, Jodie was honored as one of the Influential Women in Business by the Baton Rouge Business Report. This accolade celebrates her significant impact on the healthcare sector and her dedication to patient care and community service. Jodie’s recognition at the Women’s Leadership Symposium and Influential Women in Business luncheon highlights her role as a trailblazer in healthcare, where she shared insights alongside other distinguished women leaders (Baton Rouge Business Report) (inRegister).

Her involvement in MBP’s Echo Alliance, a program for women at MBP to direct charitable funds, further exemplifies her commitment to philanthropy and community support, directing funds towards specific causes and ensuring impactful use.
Transitioning from an operational role to a strategic one has allowed Jodie to stay connected to the mission and patients of MBP.
