People are raving about Tai'Lynn's Taste of Elegance  and it's easy to see why. We reached out to the owners and learned that it's far more than just a food truck. Chef Tai & Stacy are bringing you a "Restaurant Experience On Demand." With services ranging from meal prep to private dining and catering, they're available to uplift any event.  Chef Tai has been in the business for a long time but decided after ten years as the first African American woman to serve as executive chef at ULL in Lafayette that it was time to set out on her own and follow her own vision.

That vision is expansive. She describes her food as "cross-cultural" and her food truck menu pulls from Ethiopian, Spanish, French, and even Thai inspirations. Take her blackened catfish. She kicks it up a notch by adding a special Thai chili coleslaw. Or maybe her Culture Shock Philly Steak which fuses Cajun and West Ethiopian flavors. 

 Tai'Lynn's foodtruck menu changes every 6 weeks or so to keep things fresh and exciting. "I just really enjoy bringing a smile to people's faces when they try something new," she explains.  She also focuses on having meals for everyone, including a wide variety of vegetarian and vegan options. "Some of our vegetarian and vegan meals are veggie-only, but we also carry Impossible products for people who want them."
