The Second Annual Feliciana Walk for Life is set for Saturday, October 5 at 8AM

Ready to walk for a cause? Landmark Bank and Feliciana Bank are hosting their second annual walk for life in support of the American Cancer Society. Put on your cutest pink outfits and come on out for the casual 3K walk between the two banks.  Last year's event was a huge hit, and they're hoping that this year's will be even bigger. 

Entry fees are only $25/person but why not bring the whole team for $250? At that sponsorship level, you'll even get a tent. Of course, if you want to really make a splash, consider a $500 donation that will get your business' name on the back of the t-shirt. 

Now, our East Fel readers might recognize that October 5th is also the Clinton bicentennial celebration. Don't worry. Those festivities don't start until 2. You'll have plenty of time to Walk for Life, grab lunch at The Green Door at H Mercantile and get right back out to celebrating. 

"There's not a family out there who hasn't been touched by cancer," says event organizer Angela M Gross. That inspired her to do everything she could to try to find a cure. "The American Cancer Society is working on everything from preventative screenings to treatments," she explains. That's why it's such a great charity to support and such a great cause to get behind.
