SJB have been gathering supplies to send to Fleetwood F.D. in Ashe County, NC because one of the parishioners has as son who is a member of the Fire Department. After this first round of donations go up, they'll pivot to collecting building materials and other longer term relief supplies. You can also donate to Fleetwood directly through their Amazon wishlist link.

Slaughter First Baptist Church will be accepting all donations for the Asheville area on Tuesday October 8th from 3-7 pm. We have a 40 ft. trailer we want to fill to capacity. You can donate non-perishable food, diapers, baby wipes , adult wipes or money to buy fuel for those who have generators. Paper plates, cups , napkins. So many have lost everything. Let's show our Christian Love & help out those that need us.
