The Joint Transportation, Highways and Public Works Committee will conduct a series of public hearings to review highway construction priorities for the state fiscal year 2025-2026, in accordance with LA R.S. 48:231.

A hearing for Ascension, Assumption, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Pointe Coupee, St. James, West Baton Rouge, and West Feliciana parishes will be held on October 23, 2024, at 9:00 AM in the State Capitol Basement House Committee Room 6, Baton Rouge.

The Preliminary Program for Fiscal Year 2025-2026 will be available for review starting October 1, 2024, at the LADOTD Headquarters and online at http://www.dotd.la.gov/Inside_LaDOTD/Divisions/Multimodal/Transportation_Planning/Highway_Priority/Pages/default.aspx.

Interested parties are invited to attend in person or participate virtually. Written comments can be submitted at the hearings or mailed within 45 days of the final hearing. For special assistance, contact LADOTD at (225) 379-1218 at least five days before the hearing.
