LANE REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER NAMES NEW CEO
Lane Regional Medical Center has named Frank Corcoran, Jr. as its next Chief Executive Officer, effective January 13, 2025. Corcoran succeeds Larry Meese, who is retiring after eight years of service.
Corcoran comes to Lane from Sierra Vista Hospital in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, where he served as CEO for the past three years. He brings more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience and is originally from New Orleans.
"Following an extensive national search process, the Board is pleased to have found the best individual to assume leadership of our growing system," says Thomas Scott, chair of Lane Regional Medical Center's Board of Commissioners. "Frank has a track record of strong leadership skills, service line growth and strategic knowledge of the healthcare industry, which makes him exceptionally qualified to successfully lead Lane into the future."
The six-month national search was conducted by Community Hospital Consulting. A large pool of candidates was narrowed down through interviews with Lane's search committee, board members, physicians, senior leadership and staff.
"Frank brings the right mix of skills to this role," continues Scott. "His passion for community-based healthcare and commitment to excellence align with Lane's mission and expansion plans, and we are confident that Frank will continue to build on our many strengths."
Corcoran earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Louisiana State University School of Nursing and a Masters of Health Care Administration from Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
"It is a privilege for me to continue the great work of Mr. Meese, and I am committed to ensuring the highest quality patient care and extraordinary customer service the region knows and expects," Corcoran said. He and his wife Ginger will reside in Zachary to be closer to their grandchildren in Central and Sun, Louisiana.
