Vietnam Memorial Replica To Visit Zachary Area This Week
Mar 17, 2025 10:22AM ● By Lauren Pope
A Vietnam Veterans Memorial Replica, known as The Wall That Heals, will be hosted at Life Tabernacle Church on Hooper Road from March 20-23. The event seeks volunteers to assist with setup, coordination and community engagement.
Pastor Tony Spell at Life Tabernacle Church has been working for years to bring this experience to the Baton Rouge area. It is designed to be a place of healing and remembrance for those impacted by the Vietnam War. It's also a place of celebration of our Armed Forces and a place where young people can learn more about the war and the people who served.
There will be pictures of Louisiana soldiers as well as dog tags commiserating the fallen. Participants are encouraged to take a dog tag and find the corresponding name on the wall. The event is open to all ages and there will be volunteers and staff on hand to answer questions and explain the history of the Wall in the learning center.
