ZHS Art Students’ Work on Display at the Louisiana Museum of Art and Scienc

The Zachary High School Art Department has exciting news to share. Several ZHS Talented art students were selected to showcase their artwork in the STEAM Gallery of the Louisiana Art and Science Museum in Baton Rouge. The exhibit will run for one year with a closing reception in March 2026 and is currently open to the public. Students Amelia Concienne, Greyson Vargas, Evelyn Vargas, Mae Edel, Annalise Collins, Stella Bridier, Aubrey Fabre, Faren Hill, Macey Ray, Courtney Tate, Madison Smith, Journi Davis, John Varmall, Lilly Richard, Vy Thai, Carlynn Vessel, and Jennalyn Sevilla are all featured. Lauren Conerly, their Talented Art teacher, is
thrilled that these students have this experience.

More than a gallery, this space serves as a launchpad for future art professionals. Students are guided through the full exhibition process—from refining their artistic vision to preparing and installing work to industry standards. Designed to reflect LASM’s mission of connecting art, science, and community, the STEAM Gallery offers an engaging, modern environment that encourages collaboration and growth.
