Are you worried about how to feed your family if SNAP benefits are cut off starting in November? Do you want to help families in this situation? Zachary Food Pantry is here to help.

With food distributions happening every Tuesday morning at their location next to the Zachary Men's Club, Zachary Food Pantry is a lifeline to the local community. If you need help, simply come by on Tuesday morning to fill out an application during their normal distribution times. No one is turned away at that first pick up, even if you're outside of EBR Parish. Afterwards, to receive regular assistance, they'll need to confirm your income and address eligibility. 

This week was heavier than usual, and they expect that trend to continue. They're calling upon the community to give at the distribution boxes across town. Please, shelf stable items ONLY (they once had someone put in a pack of raw chicken! Don't be THAT GUY) You can find drop boxes at Rouses, Bank of Zachary, and most local churches. Zachary Community School District will be collecting canned goods for the annual Pack the Pantry event from November 3-25.

The Zachary Food Pantry is located at 5640-A Rollins Road, Zachary, LA, United States, Louisiana and distributes food every Tuesday from 9AM to 11 AM.
