Local Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant Hannah Herring has proudly served the Zachary community for more than 19 years — and she continues to call it home.

Each holiday season, Hannah partners with local businesses and individuals to spread love and joy to area nursing home residents through her heartfelt project, “Adopt-A-Grandparent.”

This year, her goal is to provide 100 gifts to local residents, and she’s inviting the community to help make it happen.

For just $25 per resident, sponsors can provide a beautifully wrapped Christmas gift that includes a Mary Kay hand cream and foot cream, thoughtful comforts that bring big smiles.

Hannah personally delivers each gift to local nursing homes, ensuring that every recipient feels the warmth of community care. Every gift tag proudly displays the names of the individuals and businesses who “adopt” a grandparent, letting residents know they are remembered and loved.

This project holds special meaning for Hannah, as many of these residents no longer have family members who visit. A simple act of kindness truly makes a lasting impact.
