Get ready for an exciting new event on Sunday, August 17 that combines swimming and running! The Americana YMCA will host its first-ever Splash and Dash, inviting kids ages 3–18 to dive in and dash out in a fun, fast-paced race designed just for young athletes.

About the Race
The Splash and Dash is a growing sport that encourages youth participation in multi-sport events in a supportive and fun environment. Young athletes can register to compete individually or team up in pairs—one swimmer and one runner per team.

Age Groups & Awards
Racers will be grouped into divisions based on their age on race day, and medals will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place winners in each division. Please note that while start and finish times will be recorded to determine results, individual split times will not be tracked.

Every participant will receive a finisher medal, and those who register before August 13, 2025, will also get a commemorative event T-shirt!
