Thank You for Over 30 Years of Trust, Friendship, and Family

For more than 30 years, our family at Matte's Plumbing has had the deep honor and privilege of serving the incredible people of Zachary and all surrounding parishes. What began as a local plumbing company built by our father, Mark Matte, became something so much more — a bond with our community that grew into lifelong friendships, trust, and love.

As we reflect on the legacy our dad built, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for the loyalty, kindness, and support you've shown not only to him, but to all of us. Over the decades, you've welcomed us into your homes, your businesses, and your lives. You've trusted our family with your needs — and, in turn, became part of ours. You didn’t just become customers — you became family.

In these past 7 months since Dad’s passing, we’ve received an outpouring of love, memories, and heartfelt stories that have comforted and sustained us in ways we could never put into words. Your support has meant everything to us, and so many of those stories are now etched into our hearts forever. We truly believe God planted these seeds long ago, knowing there would come a day when we would need you — and you've been there every step of the way.

Now, as we officially close the doors of Matte’s Plumbing, please know this decision does not mean an end to the quality care, dedication, and love you’ve come to know. That spirit lives on.

We’re proud to share that Empire Plumbing of Zachary — a family-owned business with shared values and heart — is stepping in to care for you as one of their own. They aren’t just partners; they are our extended family.
