This year's event will be held on August 22nd at 6 p.m. at the Northwestern Middle School Gym.
Each year, as families prepare for a new school year, Zachary Unite steps forward with a

mission that goes far beyond school supplies and summer festivities. What began as a simple
idea-creating a safe, uplifting space for students-has grown into one of our most anticipated
community events in the community.
Zachary Unite is built on the belief that when a community shows up for its young people,
everything changes. Our organization has become known for its consistency, compassion, and
ability to bring together schools, churches, businesses, and families under one shared purpose:
empowering the next generation.
This year’s “5th Quarter” Back-to-School event continues that tradition. The event blends
inspiration with celebration, offering live performances, youth speakers, giveaways, and
resources that support students academically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. It is a space
where every child-regardless of background- feels seen, valued, and encouraged as they step
into the new school year.
The impact is undeniable. Attendance has grown each year, and so has community
involvement. Local businesses, civic leaders, and volunteers have rallied behind the mission,
recognizing that when a community invests in its young people, the impact reaches far beyond
one event- it strengthens the entire city.
Zachary Unite remains committed to creating moments that matter-moments that remind
students they are supported, families they are not alone, and the community that together, they
can build something powerful.
