Zachary, LA- The Zachary Community School District will be launching a full-time virtual school option at the high school level for the 2024-2025 school year.  Students enrolled in the Zachary Virtual Learning Program would be eligible to participate in extracurricular activities and athletics offered.  Please click the link or visit our website www.zacharyschools.org for more detailed information and to complete the form if you are interested in your student participating.  A ZCSD team member will connect with you to discuss the details of the program opportunities.

According to the informational website "ZVLP is an alternative to traditional public school, where students access standards-based courses facilitated by highly qualified/certified instructors through an online format. Courses can be completed through a varied pace curriculum that is solely aligned to the ability of an individual student. The courses can be completed anytime/anywhere and are progress monitored through a series of benchmark tests as well as a culminating exam that proves mastery of the content. All courses enable the student to be in direct contact with their facilitator through email, phone, and/or face-to-face interaction.

Upon completion, a student can earn a Zachary High School diploma."
