- Locals came through for a mom in desperate need:
- RAVE! We really do have an amazing community! Three weeks ago an anonymous poster asked for help for clothes for her kids. I offered to take her shopping; we went this evening. We went to Once Upon A Child in Baton Rouge. The manager matched whatever we spent!!!! I can’t thank the staff enough that was so kind and supportive not judgmental. For the first time it was great to see people empowering one another not tearing someone down who is already down on their luck. Not one time did this girl ask me for money or try to be over the top. She was so thankful and was so excited to get home to dress her kids in their new clothes! Huge shout out to the other posters that have also donated clothes and goods to her. Great ending to a great day. If you’re reading this anonymous poster it was a pleasure to shop with you and I wish you the best of luck!
- People have finally discovered Aji City food truck, and the reviews are five-star! "Y'all this is no joke. Absolutely delicious and the customer service is fantastic!"
